A Certified Ohashiatsu® Instructor and Registered Shiatsu Therapist, Margarete graduated from the Ohashi Institute in New York, U.S.A., in 2001 and completed the certified instructor training program in 2002. Back in her former home base of Vienna she founded “Ohashiatsu® in Austria” and trained many others with this kind of bodywork. Since 2010 she has expanded her work to Vancouver, Canada, offering sessions and teaching the Ohashiatsu curriculum. Originally from Germany, she completed a master’s degree in Urban Planning at the University of Dortmund, Germany. While living in Europe, she began a spiritual, body-oriented life journey that began with gardening, expanded with the experience of pregnancy and motherhood, grew with the studies of various holistic methods like bioenergetics, tantra, macrobiotics, Kyudo, Tai Ji and yoga, and peeked in her deep involvement with Sufism and Ohashiatsu. All these experiences became part of herself, bringing understanding, compassion and joy into her life. Her Ohashiatsu sessions and classes are an expression of her gratitude and deep wish to share these gifts with other people.Web Site:ohashiatsu
